We’re thrilled to be able to offer our customers the FARO Focus S70 3D Laser Scanner, a highly accurate terrestrial laser scanner developed for short-range applications.
Since their introduction, FARO Focus Laser Scanners have been providing fast and exact indoor and outdoor measurements in industries such as architecture, engineering, construction and public safety. The S70 is the latest addition to the impressive FARO laser scanner line-up.
The S70 is a similar model to the M70 scanner, which was announced back in 2017, but it offers much denser data – 1 million points per second (compared to the M70’s 500,000 points per second), and a higher accuracy of +/- 1mm (compared to the M70’s +/- 3mm).

Thanks to its integrated colour camera and HDR function, the FARO Focus S70 3D Laser Scanner produces high-precision results, meaning it’s perfect for scanning anything from architectural façades to complex structures, accident sites to production and supply facilities.
While the S70 combines all the benefits we’ve come to associate with FARO’s well-known range of Focus 3D laser scanner products, it also boasts additional innovation, adding Ingress Protection Rating (IP54), an extended temperature range and an increased accuracy in terms of distance and angle measurement.

It’s also compact and portable, being one of the smallest and lightest devices in its performance class. Thanks to the IP54 rating, you can scan in challenging environments without worrying about dust, debris and water splashes. There’s also an extended temperature range from -20° to 55°C. In short, the FARO S70 offers a robust performance and immediate results.
