Used Spectra Geospatial FOCUS 35 Total Station

The Spectra Precision FOCUS 35 is a new range of motorized total stations providing high speed, accuracy and precision in measurement.

The FOCUS 35 robotic instrument moves the power of the observer from the instrument to the range pole, improving efficiency.

The speed of observation and precise positioning of the FOCUS 35 Robotic Total Station is provided by patented StepDriveTM motion technology, which controls the horizontal and vertical motion of the motors, eliminating the need for traditional motion locks.

The FOCUS 35 includes a tracking sensor that uses LockNGoTM tracking technology, enabling the instrument to constantly lock onto the prism.

This instrument is available in: 1 second, 2 second, 3 second and 5 second angle accuracies, so a price is available on application depending on the angle accuracy of the instrument.

What is LockNGo technology?

LockNGo technology enables the instrument to constantly lock onto the prism. The benefit of LockNGo technology is the ability to follow the prism at all times and reduce downtime from not having to re-point the instrument on every observation.

What is StepDrive technology?

The StepDrive motor system is a mechanical rough-fine drive system, which gives high turning speeds and accuracy. The system provides endless horizontal and vertical motion, including endless fine adjustment. The instrument uses a StepDrive motor system when performing a number of different operations such as turning the horizontal and vertical motion knobs, for automatic test and calibration, or when using LockNGo Tracker technology for robotic surveying.
