    Trimble R780

    The R780 is an ultra-durable GNSS receiver featuring leading positioning technologies that are regularly updated by Trimble. With multiple base and rover configurations, surveyors can choose how they work in different environments.

    What is the radio performance of the R780?

    The R780 has a fully integrated 450MHz transceiver with a 410-473MHz frequency range. It can also be fitted with a dual-band 450/900MHz transceiver. Be aware that Trimble discovered a potential issue with the UHF radio communication link when TrimTalkV1 is used at 16000 bps or higher. For reliability, we recommend avoiding this range.

    How do I use the web interface for the R780?

    Turn the R780 on and wait for the WiFi symbol to start flashing. Find and select the Trimble GNSS WiFi network (the default password will be abcdeabcde). Open the browser in your phone or computer and enter the 192.168.142.1 IP address to log into the interface.
