High-accuracy surveys
Even as an ageing product, the R580 uses a host of Trimble technology to minimise errors and ensure precision in challenging GNSS environments. Maxwell™ 7 chip technology allows the receiver to track all available GNSS constellations, increases processing, and ensures surveyors are protected from ‘spoofed’ signals. This, alongside EVEREST™ Plus to remove unwanted multipath signals, means surveyors can have a high level of confidence in R580 data.
Geographic Information System (GIS) applications
The R580 is designed to gather, store, and analyse geospatial data for use in GIS projects. As such, it can be used in various industries where this is relevant, with the interface being very intuitive for surveying novices. Examples include conservationists, architects, teachers, and more. Specialist technology allows users to confidently map large areas near trees and tall buildings, which ordinarily disrupts lesser equipment.
This receiver is also optimised to make use of Trimble Access™ and Trimble TerraFlex® field software.

All our hire products are supplied through local deliveries made by our own fleet to addresses within 2-3 hours of our depots which cover most of England and Wales. We’ll also deliver outside of the UK, using national couriers (UPS).
