Leica Prisms

Leica Prisms, Mini Prisms and Reflectors

Our Leica prism range covers circular and precision prisms for traverse work and long sights, mini prisms for detail and confined spaces, 360-degree prisms for robotic tracking, and the holders, adapters and pole fittings that carry them.

Prism constant is the number to get right. Every prism has one; it differs between models and between mini and full-size versions, and it has to be entered into the instrument, or every distance carries the same error. Each listing states the constant it works to.

It matters across brands too. Manufacturers do not all reference the constant the same way, so a Leica prism used on a Trimble or Topcon instrument needs the figure checked rather than assumed. Kit that has been mixed and matched over the years is worth going through for exactly this reason.

If you are unsure which prism or which constant your instrument expects, send us the model, and we will confirm it.
