It connects to Esri ArcGIS geodatabases, feature services and shapefiles, and to PostGIS on PostgreSQL. The module pulls the GIS schema into TBC as a feature code library, which goes out to the field in Trimble Access. Collected data comes back in, is processed and adjusted, then writes straight into the geodatabase with its attributes intact.
It suits utilities, local authority and asset management teams where the GIS is the system of record and survey accuracy has to survive the handover.
Available as an add-on to a perpetual licence, or included in the subscription editions that carry it.
