SEP Professional Services Golf Day

SEP Professional Services held our inaugural golf day at Allerton Manor Golf Course. Staff, commercial partners and clients all helped to ensure this was a well supported event, and the weather was glorious too.

This was a charity event – raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust – and in memory of Kirsten Hawksey who tragically passed away from Leukaemia on Christmas Day last year. We are delighted with £4.250 that we raised for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Prizes were awarded for the team event (1st 2nd and 3rd place) longest drive and nearest the pin. Thanks to Alan Stewart, from Newhall Safety Services and Bootle FC, for sponsoring the Nearest the Pin competition.

The winners were as follows:

1st Place 4 Ball – Kirsten Hawksey Family Representatives – Jamie Baines, Ian Bagot, Danny Gimson, Tom Cullen

2nd Place 4 Ball – SEP Professional Services – Dave Stafford, Sean Pollitt, Adam Spelman, Alan Stewart

3rd Place 4 Ball – Airbus – Mark Hibbert, Lewis Price, Curtis Strong, Yan Chan

Longest Drive – Ian Broadfoot SEP Professional Services

Nearest the Pin – Joe Doran, Bootle FC

Many thanks to everyone at Allerton Manor Golf Course for looking after us so well and to everyone that came and enjoyed the golf day.

We look forward to seeing you again at our second annual event next year.

SEP Professional Services – Safety stand down & recognition awards

SEP Professional Services are currently undertaking a large construction project on behalf of a global client in the food industry.

In line with our monthly procedure, SEP held a site wide stand down which was attended by all contractors. The event is utilised to further enhance the excellent health and safety culture on site. Recognition and awards were provided to individuals and contractors who had made significant contribution to the projects health and safety performance.

SEP Professional Services – Safety Stand Down Meeting – Friday 31st July

This meeting focused purely on site health and safety, ensuring all staff and contractors are fully up to speed with HSE procedures and minimisng risk of injury.

As a further incentive, all employees completed an HSE quiz with the added bonus of two lucky winners being drawn out of the hat to win a prize!

Simon Proctor and Sean Maguire – both site supervisors – were the winners of the ESH quiz prize draw.

Recognition Awards

SEP Professional Services also held ESH Recognition Awards to ensure ESH remains at the forefront of all construction activity.

Joe Brannen (left picture) and Wayne Arnold receive their recognition awards for an excellent approach to EHS site compliance.

Finally, Henry Marsden was awarded with some free breakfast vouchers for being the 1000th person inducted onto the SEP construction project.

Congrats Henry from all at SEP Professional Services!
